2007 STATE LEAGUE - 9 - 10 JUNE

This years State League looks really exciting with 7 teams entered:

            Southern     (defending champs)
Eastside     (former regular winners a few years back)
            Northern Suburbs     (welcome back)
            Burnie      (nearly won last year)
            Deloraine     (welcome back)
Devonport     (not going to stay out all night this year??)
Launceston     (winners in 2005 and looking good for 2007!!)

With the extra teams playing this year we have decided not to play the exhibition match. This will give us more time to get through all the rounds needed and also fit in a short evening dinner/get together on Saturday night before the evening session. With the exhibition match gone we will finish much earlier on the Saturday night.

Also we are looking at 8 man teams instead of 10 man teams which will make it easier for clubs to field full teams.

2005 STATE LEAGUE

This event was held at the Country Club Casino. An exhibition match between Brett Clark and Simon Gerada was played before the Saturday night matches and was watched by a keen crowd. Northern Tas won the event, the first time for a Northern Association. Results of the teams events are HERE.
